Beginner Bible Time & Junior Church
What are Junior Church & Beginner Bible Time?
Junior Church & BBT are optional children's programs for the time period during the sermon. Children go up to the front of the sanctuary for the Children's Sermon, and the leaders guide them to their room following Pastor Harvey's brief message.
Which One Does My Child Go To?
BBT is for children ages 2-3
Junior Church is for children ages 4 through 4th grade
Where do I go to pick up my child?
Beginner Bible Time meets in the 2yrs old Sunday School room - First floor, Rm 100 (click here for map)

What Goes On? Who Leads?
Beginner Bible Time
In Beginner Bible Time our children learn the truths of God's word through story book time & age appropriate activities assembled by our former C.E. Director Cheryl Shultze. A minimum of two adult members of our congregation (which means they are accountable to the session of EP) working under the C.E. Director teach BBT each week.
Junior Church
Junior Church is an "every Sunday" extension of our Vacation Bible School. It begins with worship time: we currently use two sing-along DVD's from Group Publishing 
. The kids not only hear the song, but see the motions & (for those who can) read the words. One of our current favorites is "Whatever You Do" based on Colossians 3:17

Next we break into small groups (we never leave the room, we just spread out a little) for prayer time with one of our 4 adult Jr. Church leaders.
Next we have a lesson from Group's Kid's Own Worship Curriculum, usualy accompanied by a really neat visual aid & reinforced with a simple activity (coloring, drawing, etc.)
