Holy Week Services

I am looking forward to our Holy Week services this year.  Last year these services were an incredible blessing to the church and the community. The choir's ministry at the Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service is still fresh in my mind.  This communion service was also a blessing for other believers who gathered with us.  Dr. Curtis Hill from Ogletown Baptist Church will be joining us again for our Good Friday Service, preaching the closing message from 1st John 4:7-21 on the Love of God in the Atonement.  And of course Easter Sunday is the crowing joy of the week!  Plan to join us an bring a friend.

Thursday April 2 - Maundy Thursday Service, 7:00-8:00 pm in the Sanctuary.  This is a communion service remembering, especially, Jesus words to his disciples surrounding the first Lord's Supper: "A new command [latin, mandatum, from which we get Maundy] I give you.  As I have loved you, so you must love one another."

Friday April 3 - Good Friday Service, 7:00-7:50 pm in the Sanctuary.  We are pleased to share the pulpit with Pastor Curtis Hill and delighted to partner with our brothers and sisters at Ogletown Baptist.  All our welcome to worship with us as we are led by Pastor Jay Harvey to behold our crucified Savior afresh.

Sunday April 5 - Easter Service, 10:45am in the Sanctuary.  He is risen!  He is risen indeed!  Come and join your voice to ours and worship the risen King, accompanied by a full orchestra and our choirs.
