Daily Worship - January 25-30, 2016
"Let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer
to God acceptable worship with reverence and awe." Hebrews 12:28

Psalm 37:4-7
4 Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.
6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.
7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who
prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!

“Come, Thou Almighty King” (v. 4)
To the great One in Three eternal praises be,
Hence ever more. His sovereign majesty may be in glory see,
and to eternity love and adore.

Westminster Shorter Catechism Question 105.
Q. 105. What do we pray for in the fifth petition?
A. In the fifth petition, which is, And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors,
we pray that God, for Christ's sake, would freely pardon all our sins; which we
are the rather encouraged to ask, because by his grace we are enabled from the
heart to forgive others.

Family Prayer
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy
will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive
us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but
deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever.
Amen.

“Gloria Patri”
Glory be to the Father and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning,
is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen, amen.
