All about Questions.

Christianity Explored is a 10 week course which asks questions and encourages you to ask questions.

Each week CE looks at the book of Mark and asks:

"who is Jesus?"

"why did he come?" and

"what does it mean to follow him?"

But what are your questions?

"is God real?" "is the Bible trustworthy?"  "how can a good God allow so much suffering?" "what about the crusades?" "what's so unique about Christianity?"

Whatever your questions are, bring them to Christianity Explored and expect to find answers.

Relaxed and Informal

Each week we'll discuss people's questions, explore the scriptures, then watch and discuss a 12-20 minute DVD clip by Rico Tice of All Soul's Church in London.

Participate as much or as little as you like.  All materials and childcare provided in addition to coffee and refreshments.

Welcome!  My name is Joshua M. Knott, one of the pastors here at EP church.  One of my greatest joys at EP is spending time with folks new to the faith, new to the church, or simply folks who have questions and are looking for answers.  If that's you, I'd love for you to join me for Christianity Explored.

We currently meet Sundays, 9:30AM in the EP Library Room.   No commitment is required, only come as you can.

And, just so there are no surprises, here's the ground rules for CE (should you join us).

Don't be Nervous - you will never be asked to sing, pray, or read aloud (although I'll do all those except for sing).  Respect Everyone - every person, question and answer will be treated with the utmost respect.  Maintain Trust - questions and concerns raised in CE, stay in CE, unless the person who raised them wants to talk about them.  Leaders Lead - afford me the privilege as pastor and course leader of answering a question or deferring a question (either because the course will answer it late on, or in order to come back the next week with the best possible answer)

I hope you can make time to join me.  A new cycle of CE begins Dec 6th, but feel free to jump in mid-stream!

Sincerely,

Rev. Joshua M. Knott

Does Sin Cause Suffering?

A great question.  Read to find out what the Bible says.
