Casual Meal, Hymn-Sing, Church History Narration

We have a rich history as a congregation; a local history that reaches back to 1706, and EPC Newark is organically connected to a body of Christians that predates the Declaration of Independence by 100 years!

Friday night will be a sweet time of learning and celebration for our church family. All are welcome to register for this FREE event.

Childcare will be provided for children 3-yrs and younger.

Choir Concert, Special Message, Fine Dessert

Special Guest: Dr. Stephen Nichols

How has the founding of EPC Newark, and God's continued work through this congregation for His redemptive purposes, fit in the context of American Church History?

Dr. Stephen Nichols will follow our Chancel Choir with remarks on the founding of our church, how it relates to the history of Christianity in the United States and the theological importance of our values.

Dr. Nichols is a native of Newark, DE and graduate of Wilmington Christian School. He is currently the president of Reformation Bible College and chief academic officer for Ligonier Ministries. In addition, he is a teaching fellow for Ligonier. He was formerly research professor of Christianity and culture at Lancaster Bible College. He is author of numerous books, including For Us and for Our SalvationJonathan Edwards: A Guided Tour of His Life and Thought, and Peace and serves as coeditor of Crossway's Theologians on the Christian Life series.

This is a FREE event and all are welcome to register for this concert and special message.

Dr. Stephen Nichols will stay with us Sunday morning, teaching in the Fellowship Hall during our Sunday School hour, then preaching God's Word during our regular Morning Service.

We invite all people, from every area and walk of life, to join us during this anniversary day of worship, as well as every Sunday Morning at Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Newark.

Childcare will be provided for all children up to 6th grade.
