Operation Christmas Child is a program under Samaritan’s Purse, an evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world since 1970.

This organization serves the church worldwide by bringing the good news of the gospel along with filled shoe boxes of necessities and toys for children.

EP Church will be participating in Operation Christmas Child again this year to help children around the world.

Our goal this year is 250 boxes!

Back in July, the children in Vacation Bible School got us off to a strong start by bringing in over $500 to help with shipping and bringing in school supplies.

There is a table in the Narthex with notes of items that are needed to fill boxes.  Please take one, or several, and bring in the items to the bin in the Narthex any day up until Wednesday, October 25th.

We will be putting these boxes together as a church during the Harvest Party on Friday, October 27th.

If you would like to put together a complete box yourself, feel free!  You may bring in your filled boxes and leave them at the Operation Christmas Child table in the Narthex.

The children’s ministry will be bringing in pencils, pens, markers, and colored pencils.

Each box costs $9 to send overseas, so donations to send boxes is an option as well.

If you have any questions, please contact Carole Metzler or Debbie Freer.
