Equipping the Next Generation
Ellen Dykas | Brandon & Rebecca Farquhar | Jud & Jan Lamos
And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children… Ephesians 4:11-14

Missionary Guest DETAILs:
Ellen Dykas
Harvest USA - Pennsylvania
Ellen is the Director of Equipping for Ministry to Women for HarvestUSA. She joined Harvest USA in 2007 as our first full-time women’s ministry staff. She’s authored several Harvest USA mini-books, a women’s curriculum, a devotional, and, most recently, Jesus and Your Unwanted Journey: Wives Finding Comfort After Sexual Betrayal. Ellen will now focus on producing new content and developing training for churches. She’s excited to build on her 16 years here through teaching, writing, and training. Ellen received her MA from Covenant Theological Seminary and a graduate certificate in biblical counseling from Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF).
Harvest USA brings the truth and mercy of Jesus Christ by helping individuals and families affected by sexual sin and by providing resources that address biblical sexuality to individuals and churches. Harvest USA provides discipleship and equipping to care for those affected by sexual brokenness. Today, the larger mission of Harvest USA is two-fold. First, Harvest USA seeks to be a resource to the local church, equipping individual congregations and the church at large to better care for and disciple those affected by sexual brokenness. We provide excellent resources through our blogs, videos, seminars, presentations, and books to support and strengthen the church. Second, Harvest USA is committed to providing one-on-one discipleship and support groups for men, women, and parents affected by sexual struggles in its Dresher office.
Brandon & Rebecca Farquhar
Grace Presbyterian Church - Norwalk, CT
The Farquhars live in Norwalk, CT where Brandon serves as a Pastor/Church Planter working to plant and establish a new PCA church. Starting with a church planting apprenticeship in 2022, the Farquhars then worked to gather a small group, to train into a core group, to prayerfully and excitedly launch a public worship service in May 2025. Norwalk is a coastal city of about 90,000 people in southern Connecticut, around 50 minutes outside of New York City. With zero Reformed or Presbyterian churches, and less than 10% of the population who attend an evangelical church, the harvest for the Gospel mission of Jesus in Norwalk is plentiful!
Brandon grew up attending Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Newark until he went off to the University of Maryland to study Chemical Engineering in 2001. Brandon returned to EP for a year in 2004, this time with his fiance, Rebecca, who fondly remembers her time singing in the choir and connecting with the church family. Brandon and Rebecca then moved to St. Louis, where Brandon received a Master of Divinity at Covenant Seminary, before starting out in full-time ministry in Greenwich, CT in 2011. They have been in southern Connecticut ever since, with Brandon serving in several ministry roles while Rebecca worked within the local school system before serving for the past five years as the Director of Human Resources and Corporate Insurance for FOCUS, a youth outreach ministry serving students at independent private schools.
Brandon and Rebecca have been married for over 20 years, and have been blessed with four children: Connor (16), Riley (14), Aiden (12), and Aubrey (8).
